For a Pop of Color From Santa Monica, Try the New Colour Pop Super Shock Shadows - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Bargain hunter says what now?! The new Super Shock Shadows past Color Pop are only $v each?
A new makeup line from Santa Monica, California, the brand does eyeshadow singles in a double rainbow of hues and finishes for just $5 each.
Other than existence totally affordable, they feel pretty interesting, as well. While they look like powder eyeshadows on the pare, they feel more like a creamy mousse to the impact.
To get the most intense color on your lids, Color Pop recommends applying the shadows either with a finger or a apartment eyeshadow brush.
I've tried applying and blending them with a bunch of different brushes, and for me, fingers or a apartment eyeshadow castor create the almost vibrant colors. Virtually of the time, I'll grab a domed, tapered fluffy brush because, you lot know…girlfriend is not about to sweep a bright majestic into the pucker with a finger, even though it would be possible, but my clumsiness knows no bounds, and it could also be a recipe for disaster.
The fluffier the tool, the more it tends to diffuse the shadows, which is why these appear super intense in the arm swatches (where I applied them with a finger) and mellower on my lids.
Just an FYI…in case the idea of parting with yo' 217 or 224 freaks you out.
It'due south a cool look, no? — kind of glistening and dreamy… I similar.
I'll usually merely buff one of the colors (neutral golden chocolate-brown Desert is my jam!) all over the lids, then exercise a little black liner on the water lines.
Equally these don't endure from fallout (just the faintest chip), applying one is quick and piece of cake, and it lasts all day long on my combination oily/dry lids with almost cipher creasing or fading…and that's either with or without primer.
The brand is still fairly new, so right now they're just available online at colourpop.com. They exercise offering free shipping, though, on orders over $xxx, which adds upwards to six shadows.
Not a bad way at all to experiment with some new brights. 🙂
Is that Tabs behind the curtain?
Clearly these tabby curtain tie-backs need to observe their mode into my life, STAT.
Thank you to reader Goode for the heads-upwardly! These cat lady gems (which expect a lot like someone I know…) are available now at urbanoutfitters.com for $24 a pair.
Your friendly neighborhood dazzler aficionado,
